OUR OBJECTIVES
We respect and appreciate man and the environment: As a family business, we think long-term and are committed to leaving a world worth living in for future generations. That is why our business model is aligned towards acting in harmony with man and the environment. We have defined clear goals and work every day to achieve them and continuously improve.
Our goals represent the ecological, social and economic aspects of sustainability and
show how closely they are linked.
By 2030, we are aiming to reduce emissions by 42% in Scope 1 – 3 according to the standard of the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi). We joined in 2022 and once again tightened our calculation basis based on the GHG Protocol¹.
The target relates to both emissions that we can influence and those that we cannot influence - i.e. those of our partners, such as our raw material suppliers. This means that we can only achieve the target if we work together.

At least 10% of our annual investments are explicitly channelled into sustainability projects, which are independently audited on an annual basis in accordance with the ZNU* standard. This is a strong indication of our commitment to shaping a better and more sustainable future.

By 2025, we want to know for 100% of the cocoa we source where it comes from, who it is grown by, and under what conditions this happens. Our goal is traceability back to the respective farm.
