The Rainforest Alliance seal certifies that the cocoa used in all our products comes from certified sustainable cultivation. Rainforest Alliance Cocoa sets ecological, social, and economic sustainability standards for cocoa farming.
FSC®
All our paper-based packaging is FSC® certified. The seal certifies that the materials were produced with wood from sustainable forestry, which means using forests according to the social, economic, and ecological needs of present and future generations. ID: FSC® N002880
IFS food
The IFS certificate certifies that our production facility in Waldenbuch meets the requirements of the IFS Food. The IFS's focus is on the safety of the products and the quality of the processes and products.
FONAC
We are a member of the Forum Nachhaltiger Kakao e.V. (Sustainable Cocoa Forum). The German Federal Government, the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), the German confectionery industry, the German food trade, and civil society have joined forces. Together, as a so-called multi-stakeholder initiative, we pursue improving the living conditions of cocoa farmers and their families and increasing the cultivation and marketing of cocoa certified according to sustainability standards.
ZNU
The ZNU Standard certifies through third-party certification that we will make our business more sustainable and that we want to make an active and measurable contribution to sustainable change in the economy and society (and have a functioning management system for this).
FONAP
We are a member of the Forum for Sustainable Palm Oil since 2020. FONAP is an association of companies, non-governmental organizations, associations, and the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, whose aim is to increase the share of sustainably produced palm oil in the German-speaking market and at the same time improve existing standards and certifications.
