OUR COCOA PROGRAMMES
90% (as of 2023) of our cocoa comes from cocoa programmes in long-term partnerships with producer organisations in cocoa-growing countries, which we support through these programmes.
CLIMATE-NEUTRAL COMPANY¹ SINCE 2020
¹ We achieve this by avoiding, reducing and compensating unavoidable emissions (Scope 1, 2 and 3 influenceable) with Gold Standard climate certificates.
42% reduction of our emissions by 2030
We joined the Science Based Targets Initiative and set us the ambitious goal to reduce our emissions (Scope 1 – 3) by 42 %. After all, it is more important to reduce emissions than to compensate for them retrospectively.
10% ANNUAL INVESTMENTS IN SUSTAINABILITY PROJECTS
We have committed to investing at least 10% of our annual investments explicitly in sustainability projects. This is independently audited on an annual basis by the Center for Sustainable Leadership (ZNU).
FULLY RECYCLABLE BY 2025
The recyclability of our packaging is of particular importance to us. Apart from our wrappers, this also includes all outer packaging.

We use recognised certifications and labels to have our efforts and our commitment confirmed by third parties. This allows consumers and partners to see what we do and verify our actions.
