Nutritional content indicates how much energy, carbohydrates, fats, proteins, and minerals there are in food. This information is usually based on a 100g portion. External factors such as preparation and storage can affect nutritional content. This does not, however, apply to chocolate. If nutritional content is based on energy content, it is referred to as nutrient density.
