You will have probably already noticed that excellent taste is of the utmost importance to us. We work hard to create it. We have striven to find the perfect combination of chocolate mass and sugar substitutes, in order to ensure that our diet chocolates are in no way inferior to their 100g cousins. Sugar substitutes, maltitol and inulin, contribute to the chocolate mass’s wonderful, round mouthfeel. In addition, our two sugar substitutes ensure that the chocolate is higher in fibre and somewhat less sweet.
The cocoa in our diet chocolate is 100% West African and comes from Ghana, Nigeria, and the Ivory Coast. Ghanaian cocoa has a particularly fruity, full-bodied, mild taste. Nigerian cocoa is similar to Ghanaian cocoa, which is also very mild. Ivorian cocoa finishes off the combination. With its tart, acidic flavour it perfectly rounds this triumvirate off.
Diet milk chocolate
With a 30% portion of cocoa, pure West African cocoa beans form the basis of our diet milk chocolate. So that it is just as chocolaty and melts just as smoothly as classic milk chocolate, we round it off with a little hazelnut mass. A large portion of skimmed milk powder also ensures a delicious milky flavour. Diet Dark Chocolate
You can taste at least 53% West African cocoa in our Diet Dark Chocolate. Its full-bodied cocoa flavour and subtle sweetness, lent to it by the addition of maltitol and inulin, make it a robust dark chocolate with an accentuated cocoa taste.
