RITTER SPORT Marzipan has been a part of our assortment since 1935. It’s probably the most delicious thing that can happen to an almond. 36% of the best sweet Californian almonds proudly reside in its 44% fine marzipan filling. A hint of bitter Mediterranean almonds rounds off the marzipan taste with a subtle, tangy flavour. To ensure that such a fine marzipan as this receives only the best coating, we make it a crunchy dark chocolate shell perfected with fine, fruity, aromatic cocoas. The fine marzipan is then placed into this chocolate covering and the base of the bar is sealed with dark chocolate. For over 70 years now, this effort has been rewarded with a very special and incomparable taste experience.

Our classic dark chocolate made from full-bodied West African cocoa and fine cocoas from Papua New Guinea and Madagascar perfectly complements the fine marzipan with its fruity flavour and 50% cocoa content.

Got into shape:
Because one can never have too much marzipan, we use our 100g mould with medium channel depth for our RITTER SPORT Marzipan. This provides it with a consistent filling throughout the bar.
