This small place near to Stuttgart doesn’t even have 9,000 inhabitants. Nevertheless, it’s home to an international brand: Since before 1930 RITTER SPORT has been at home here in idyllic Waldenbuch in Aichtal.
Could Alfred and Clara Ritter have chosen themselves a more beautiful spot as their company’s headquarters? Doubtful. Whoever comes here quickly becomes enamoured by the delightful landscape, by the special flair of the city, and by the Swabian hospitality. Waldenbuch is a place for feeling good, for enjoying, and a good address in the Stuttgart region for art, nature, folk culture, and history.
What awaits you here at RITTER SPORT? On some days - when a low-pressure area unfortunately draws in - a fine chocolate fragrance descends over the whole town warning the inhabitants of coming rain.
But our chocolate factory offers more than just an early weather warning system. For example, the RITTER SPORT CHOCOLATE SHOP, with a chocolate exhibition, our chocolate workshop for children, and the chocolate shop for all RITTER SPORT fans.
Next door, in the RITTER MUSEUM you can dive even into a completely different world – namely, into the world of the art. Since its opening in the autumn 2005 the RITTER MUSEUM has been showing, RITTER SPORT co-owner, Marli Hoppe-Ritter’s collection of geometrical abstract art, and offers a diverse programme for children and adults.
And last but not least, the MUSEUM CAFÉ, with its generous terrace. Here await you delicious coffee and chocolate specialities as well as a wonderful view of the almost untouched nature of Aichtals.
