Where does cocoa actually come from? What does a cocoa tree even look like? How does the fresh yoghurt filling get into the bar? Who actually invented the squared chocolate? This entertaining chocolate exhibition answers many questions about chocolate, RITTER SPORT, and enjoyment. It’s a journey of discovery involving all the senses: Seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, and feeling – curious chocolate lovers will discover everything about " the food of the gods", cocoa, the delicious chocolate squares, and the mysterious chocolate world of RITTER SPORT. Interactive and step-by-step, the whole process is explained, from cocoa bean to finished chocolate square.

For school classes we especially have put together informative teaching material to accompany the exhibition and school lessons. An exciting quiz offers children and adults lots of fun and makes for a playful way to discover the world of chocolate!

Doesn’t everyone dream of at least once creating their own personal absolutely favourite chocolate?

At the RITTER SPORT CHOCOWORKSHOP this dream becomes a reality for children and adolescents: Here they will become great chocolate masters. Under the guidance of RITTER SPORT chocolate experts, 16 children at a time can completely create, shape and package two different varieties of RITTER SPORT chocolate. Exciting information on Cacao and Co. rounds off the one-hour creative workshop.

This offer for school classes, kindergartens, private groups or individual children can be combined with a visit to the chocolate exhibition or a tour of the RITTER MUSEUM (groups). The workshop can, by prior appointment, be booked for groups or individual children. However, because of high demand, we are unable to offer exclusive workshops for groups of less than 16 children. This is in order to try and allow as many children as possible to take part. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Important information for adults/parents/chaperones: The concept of the RITTER SPORT CHOCOWORKSHOP is based on providing children the most possible room for their very own creativity – naturally, under expert pedagogical guidance. This works best when they are among other children and not “influenced” by Mum, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa or Uncle. We are sure you know that from children’s activities. Please understand that adults therefore have only very limited access to the "children’s realm", for example, school class chaperones.

So during the workshop let yourself instead be inspired in the RITTER MUSEUM, stroll through the chocolate exhibition, browse the chocolate shop for your favourite varieties or relax in the MUSEUM-CAFÉ. At the end of the chocolate workshop the little chocolate masters will then very happily and very proudly present you with their self-made chocolate in "their" own packaging!

The RITTER SPORT CHOCOWORKSHOP can be booked from Tuesdays to Sundays. Reservations and further information are available on +49 (0) 71 57 / 97-704. Please remember that many little people want to become great chocolate masters and therefore at peak times there can be longer waiting times. Therefore, plan your trip to the fascinating world of chocolate ahead of time!
