Working philosophy

Anyone works for RITTER SPORTS will, of course, not only be remunerated with delicious chocolates. Salaries are performance-related and based on the company’s success. The management style is open and dialogue-orientated. We rely on teamwork, continuous improvement and constructive criticism. Mutual respect characterises how we communicate. The fundamental characteristics of our philosophy are personal responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking and action combined with challenging tasks, and last but not least, passion and fun in the production of chocolate to perfection.

What distinguishes RITTER SPORT as a friendly and attractive employer? No, not only that there is a lot of chocolate here to munch on.

First of all there is our company’s location: on the edge of the town of Waldenbuch, in the middle of the beautiful Aichtal. But we are not only located in an attractive landscape, but are also conveniently placed in regards to commuting: between Stuttgart, with a short distance to the airport, and the country’s leading university town, Tübingen.

Even though we only recognise one shape when it comes to our chocolate: the square – the form our working hours take for our employees is not so rigid. Flexible working hours in all non-production departments is for us a matter of course. Diverse training courses and career opportunities ensure that it is never boring here. And our additional pension schemes sweeten our employees’ lives even after their departure from our firm.

Healthy with Ritter Vital

“Together healthy and successful” is not just something we preach, but also live. It starts with what our company canteen has to offer: Healthy food is prepared there: abundant, varied and, as far as possible, free of additives. The offer ranges from fine raw vegetable nibbles or different cereals for breakfast, to delicious warm food and an extensive healthy buffet for lunch and dinner. But we don’t just eat well, we are also well informed, for example, through offered courses on nutrition. In order to promote physical well-being at work, we work together with a physiotherapist in back pain prevention. Seminars on stress management or on relaxation techniques ensure the mental equilibrium of our employees.

a little after-work exercise in good company? Also possible. In our company sports groups, which our employees organise themselves, everyone can find something suitable. Football, badminton or Nordic walking are just a few of them.

At the end of the working week there is a nice RITTER SPORT tradition: On Fridays a small “chocolate care package” stands ready for every employee. For one person it is a very personal weekend ration, for another person, small presents for the family. For everyone, however, a beautiful way to sweeten the weekend.
